Day 5 Update on the Decluttering Game

You made it to Day 5 of the 10 Day Declutter Game!  Great job! Thank you for playing along!

Just wanted to check in with you to see how your decluttering is going and how it feels to get your home all neat and organized.  If you are new here, here is my original post about the 10 day Declutter Game which comes with a free printable that you can print as many times as you need to get the whole family involved.  Yes, you can definitely still join in.  Please do!

Here are a few things I have discovered these past 5 days:

1. 1. I love completing a little challenge.  It helps me to get the job, well… actually done.
2. I enjoy the support of others while decluttering the house because it keeps me going when I want to bail on the whole idea and gives me some much needed encouragement along the way.
3. While I’m decluttering, I have been getting organized too!  You can’t just throw out stuff and leave the rest a mess.  Not possible.  :0)
4. Once I get started, I can’t stop!  So often, I procrastinate on these jobs but it feels so good when you see the difference!

Here are a couple of images of my "purse, scarf and whatever" drawer.  Not difficult to guess which picture was taken before and which one was taken after!
