Rocky Butte Crow at Sunset Painting

As the sun settles behind the horizon, a crow perches atop an iconic Rocky Butte lantern overlooking the city below. Inspired by evenings spent at Rocky Butte in Portland Oregon, this painting reflects the sense of peace and perspective that can emerge when we step outside, look around, and allow ourselves to simply be present.

The colorful sky, the lantern and wonderful presence of birds offer a reminder that we are connected—to nature, to place, and to one another. In those moments, everyday worries soften, replaced by wonder, gratitude, and a renewed sense of belonging.

Rocky Butte Crow at Sunset is an invitation to pause, reconnect, and find beauty in the world around us. This piece was painted on 18” x 14” gallery wrapped canvas with professional quality oil paint and mixed media.
